The Way to Start Adult IM Biz. Need Help PLZ...
 

Hello GFY Members,

I know many of you have been here and in adult business for a very long time and I am sure that you know a lot about Adult IM and how to make money with it. I know that my question is a bit dumb, because no one is going to give out their secrets to a successful business? But I hope someone could help us out on a journey that me and my girl have decided to take, to learn Adult IM.

For the past couple of days we have been reading a lot of posts here to learn what is what and how things are. But there is so many questions that came into our mind that if really we are more confused than we were before?

We hope that members of this forum can help us out, to point us to the right direction on how to star everything, we obviously not expecting to get rich over night with this, but rather to build our business over time.

As far as we understood that with one site like tube or tgp we would not get far as this has been done so many times before by many people around the world.

So as far as we understand we have to have a chain of websites, different things, niches, etc. some how interlink them, have link trading, buy traffic, submit to different places, etc.

We have made a list of things we would need to buy like domains, good hosting (vps and dedi are a bit expensive), scripts like babe logger, tgp/mgp, adult video script, link trading script, something like to list x script, etc, etc?

We do have some money saved up, so we were looking ad many different scripts like tgpx, adult video script + plugins, tradex, toplistx, linkx, gaming scripts, etc. Then we thought to build up a kinda chain network between them, so to have like 5-10 sites, then obviously submit them to directories, find someone to trade links and obviously to buy traffic. That of course not forgetting to make niches, find sponsors and to populate the content (time)?

We do have 2 sites working, one tube site, that pulls out videos from other tube sites and another is babe logger from 13scripts. We also have 1 more domain registered which has nothing on it and one, that we have registered as a main domain if we to make a network of site, kinda where we would put wordpress for news and updates and links to all the site and upcoming stuff. Well that was the idea after we have read posts here and got some ideas?

To make it count in money wise it does come to some really interesting costs and if really we don?t even know how long can it take (and if it will) to bring something in return as we do not know anything about Adult IM? :(

So we really, really ask you for your comments and for some of your knowledge that you would consider to share with us, that would help us to start things up and would defiantly not any damage to you? Really any suggestions helps?

Please do not make comments like: ?why don?t you guys make your own videos and then sell it? (we have read that before in someone?s post). We like the idea of promoting porn, we love to watch it and we love to have sex ? but this is private! ;)

You should ask something more specific. You basically asked.....everything

I know, is just we are completely lost... we have basic idea of how things work, but not too sure with what to start, which approach to take, what scripts to use...

Why would anyone want to help you? What's in it for us? Why would I freely share knowledge that took me over a decade of trial and error (and thousands of dollars in mistakes) to learn just to get to the point that I am at now? Nobody here cares that you have no idea what you're doing. Nobody here wants you to succeed.

Let's say that I have a successful cookie shop famous for great chocolate chip cookies. You want to open a cookie store across the street from me. You come over and ask for my chocolate chip cookie recipe. What do you think I might say to you in this instance?

We totally agree with you, and that is the correct way of what you saying, but we dont ask for the secret ingredients, we just ask with what is the best to start off. We have the idea to build a network of sites, but what we ask about is with what scripts to start things up? Like TGP, MGP, Tube, etc.

We dont want to step on anybodies shoes that for sure, we do want to make everything ourselves, just need a little bit of help to star up.

If you ask what is it fo you, well all we can offer, gallery submission, link exchange, and maybe we can come up with something else that we might not know of yet ;)

for your on site factors take a look at the top tubes and blogs, what affiliate programs and promo content they use and so on and more or less copy what they do. learn by imitation.

then you need traffic. either seo or traffic trading with trade scripts or plug trading.

Thanks a lot for your reply, so its better to go with videos like tube sites, right? because we were planing on buying a tgp/mgp script or to buy tube script, they all do cost some money so that is why we were asking which way is to go better to start of...

go with the tube. you can also add a traffic trading script if you want to build traffic that way.

all the tgp scripts have free versions as well.

I think it all depends on how much time you have to spend and how much money you are willing to put into your site.

I wouldn't go with a TGP if you have a limited amount of time/budget to work with.

Being new to this industry will also slow you down if you try to start up with a TGP/Tube type model.

There are many things to consider when trying to start up a TGP. You are going to have to spend money on bandwidth, feeding traffic etc... on a monthly basis.

You are also going to have to spend time finding trades, finding submitters, reviewing and accepting galleries from those submitters and things that I can't even remember.

I've never owned a tube site, so I can't really comment on that...But as far as I know, if you do have a tube site, you will want to make it legal by only accepting "trailers" or short video clips from submitters.

I'm not sure how easy that will be so you will most likely have to either use a scraping script or upload the videos yourself.

If you decide to make a tube that allows full length video postings, you will make no friends in this industry and will run the risk of being sued.

I'm not in the adult industry so I can't really give you an advice on what to do but in my opinion, if you have a limited budget and time - and are new to the industry, you will most likely want to start off blogging or submitting - or something of that nature.

One thing that may help you, is if you try to keep up with the times.

A few years ago a lot of threads and articles being posted on adult webmaster forums, were made in reference to mobile apps and development.

You may want to incorporate this technology into whatever it is that you decide to do.
