Amerinoc problems once again?
 

I upgraded from a VPS to a dedicated server not to long ago because I was having a lot of downtime with my VPS server. I thought upgrading to a dedicated server would be more efficient but it seems I'm still having issues with my server.

Am I the only one here?

It's not just you. Many Amerinoc hosted sites are down or take forever to load, including amerinoc.com. I don't host with them though.

They actually said they were doing an OS upgrade on my box the other day lol.

I responded to a recent ticket I made about slow loading videos.

Terribly slow pretty much unbearable to use.

What are the specs on your server. If you have a cheap dedicated without a lot of power and you are streaming a lot of videos or encoding. It might be the server.

What r the specs and what are yiu doig with it. Have you checked your cpu and memory usage?

I have the $175/monthly dedicated server (I3-2120 DualCore)

I recently transferred a tube getting about 35k - 50k per day.

I have other sites on the same server with about 10k - 20k per day aswel, one of which uses the server to load jw player videos.

It is possible that if you are hosting the videos yourself, this just might not be sufficient. Check your processor and memory load. Do you know how much RAM the system has?

Those I3-2120 servers at Amerinoc with the SSD caching are very very nice, we are getting a few of them. What kind of data throughput are you seeing and what is your load?

I know Amerinoc was having some issues with one of their providers earlier this month but I think it has been long fixed.
