I notice PayPal was named in the indictment. I'm willing to bet the US government will persuade them to stop doing biz with these file sharing sites.

i informed one of paypal's lawyers of their involvement in theft, he acted surprised.

i wonder if he is looking back at that conversation now...in the end the lawyers make money off this so....they are happy i guess

Ironic a few weeks ago they limited my account for no reason. I dont use paypal all that often, mainly only when my wife buys something off ebay which is rare or pay a designer.

They now require that I send them a photo ID with my current address and a copy of my social security card. FUCK THAT! Even opening a bank account in the US does not require a copy of your social security card. They have everything they need to allow someone to get into their info and steal your identity.

That happens occasionally, in my case they claimed suspicious login attempts on my account. It only took a couple emails and about a week to clear.

Can't say I'd shed too many tears if they got caught in this, they refuse to process for porn but they do for file lockers which are full to the brim with all kinds of porn, would serve them right.

paypal is simply going to provide them the feds all the information they need, so nothing to worry. No epass situation with these guys.
