?We have never received any ?abuse complaints? about MegaUpload?

Leaseweb?s Chief Security Officer Alex de Joode: ?We have never received any ?abuse complaints? about MegaUpload?

interview with a professional liar

MegaUpload was a big customer at Leaseweb. They leased 630 servers, 60 of which have now been shut down. Leaseweb was raking in millions thanks to this single customer.

Leaseweb about MegaUpload: ??It was a customer that was never a burden to us, the Americans could have asked us to take down the servers beforehand. They never did that? "

It's pathetic to see that it takes American cops to take down an illegal operation in the Netherlands. We've been in touch with the Dutch police about LeaseWeb for months now and it hardly got us anywhere. Most of the bestiality and cp content we found on their servers can still be downloaded as we write.

There are two interesting news articles but they're in Dutch:

http://webwereld.nl/nieuws/109260/me...leaseweb-.html

http://www.nrc.nl/nieuws/2012/01/20/...an-megaupload/

This article questions whether LeaseWeb really never received any complaints about MegaUpload.

Bestiality is illegal in the Netherlands were LeaseWeb is based, we found a lot of Bestiality on filelocker Oron.com which is also hosted by LeaseWeb. I brought this under attention of Dutch parlement members and one of them wrote he'll get to the bottom of it, we also reported it to the Dutch police who replied "we don't know what to do with this". I assume they wait for the FBI to take action lol

I'll send the found Oron.com links to cp and bestiality and our experience with Dutch police to the journalist who wrote the NRC article.

Why exactly are you reporting them? Is this something personal?

EukerVoorn 01-21-2012 12:34 AM

If you were a content producer, you would understand, and you would be worth my time, pijpekop :)

Wtf? Kleutertje (he's calling me a little child). This was a normal and honest question. I was truly interested why you report them.
What the fuck is wrong with you man? Jesus.

Dirty F 01-21-2012 12:37 AM

You've got a short fuse, don't you?

EukerVoorn 01-21-2012 12:58 AM

Dirty F I didn't call you kleuter because of your question but because of your general behaviour on this forum, I've never seen you post anything seriously. I'll still answer your question: it's a business thing, and a moral thing, so no nothing personal.

Porn Jew: you need to do something about your forum addiction. I'm not reading all the threads on here but everytime I do read one, you're participating in it and I have this suspicion that you really do read and post in every single thread, and that your life consists of nothing but that. Other indications of your addiction are the facts that you try to gain popularity by attempting making funny witty comments, and by licking the ass of other participaters. So yes, you're eating shit and addicted to it, affiliate loser.

Now what the fuck are you talking about? Which attitude exactly? And i already knew he was Dutch. Seriously, wtf are you talking about? I'm really curious. Which attitude exactly. Please point it out.

Edit: and why exactly would i change my attitude even if didn't know he was Dutch. What exactly is the logic about that?

Are you 2 smoking crack together or something?

Dirty F 01-21-2012 04:56 AM

Amazing. You ask a guy a normal question because you're interested and everybody goes apeshit.

His question was valid though. You seem to be on some zealous, personal crusade against them. I can only cheer at that because they are shady motherfuckers who will spam you whenever they can and wipe their asses with anything remotely smelling of a complaint.

They host pirated shit and deny it to the max.

"They leased 630 servers, 60 of which have now been shut down."

Ouch.. that must hurt! :winkwink:

seems like a terrible idea... :2 cents:

I wonder how many servers do they provide to oron? Not that it matters much though as I sure hope they're going to loose that "customer" too soon.

Mr. Stiff 01-21-2012 10:25 AM

From my experience leaseweb is serious about complaints.. CP, spam or DMCA is handled there just like any other host..

Since copyright/content laws (and enforcing them) in NL are not as rigid as the US, it's a no-brainer these sites want to be hosted in NL.. And since leaseweb is cheapest with their BW.. nothing wrong with LW..

bah - when you ask them about piracy on their servers they play the "oh, i didnt know that" card. then they promise to look into that and you know what then happens.... nothing

my personal experience

Mutt 01-21-2012 10:55 AM

amazing that grown adults lie like children caught with their hands in the cookie jar by their mommies.

i've personally sent LeaseWeb many abuse complaints and even had them laugh at me, warning me that they do not have to comply with a DMCA takedown request simply because they are based in the Netherlands and the DMCA is an American law.

SAS_Jack 01-21-2012 11:02 AM

I too have had the runaround from Leaseweb with regards to my coprighted content. I have sent them 10 Dmca's about the same issue and a week or two later i get a response asking me to provide some information that is totally irrelevent to DMCA. This has been going on for 6 months.

The copyrighted content is still up.

The op is right when he says if you were a content producer, you would understand.

fris 01-21-2012 11:14 AM

leaseweb is taking a bit hit losing this customer, 630 servers, thats a lot of coin

Hell no. I set up the site www.aboutleaseweb.org months ago and then enlisted some externals to continue working on it and that includes someone who is good at Googling.

People asking me for proof of child- and bestiality pornography hosted by LeaseWeb: see www.aboutlswb.org and the various threads about LeaseWeb on this forum. Any linked file posted here or elsewhere will be removed by LeaseWeb instantly, of course they are not going to keep any proof of their misbehavior alive. So for that, most links we found are not published anywhere, but sent to police, politicians and journalists. Those defending LeaseWeb in this: thanks for showing your real face.

I wouldn't expect anything else than hypocritial ignorant lying from LeaseWeb. All they proof is that even a group of retards can be capable of setting up a large financially succesful company, sometimes I even wonder if LeaseWeb may be a "sociale werkplaats" experiment. Integrity and honesty takes intelligence, so for that you need to shop elsewhere.

Where I come from you don't turn the other cheek when someone openly steals your property, but you kick the thief in the nuts. Oron.com and the various pirate boards associated by them have always been one of my biggest problems and they're all hosted by LeaseWeb. At the moment there is more of my content on FileSonic though so Oron.com is not my biggest concern anymore, but I still feel that LeaseWeb should get their own share of damage caused by the piracy they are participating in, so I'll contribute to damaging their reputation in every little way I can. Again, it's nothing personal, I just hate thieves, junks, retards, child- and animal abusers, pedophiles, tramps and lazy unemployed losers sitting on the couch all day downloading stolen content.

BlackCrayon 01-21-2012 12:42 PM

the bitchfest aside, leaseweb is obviously lying.

strobi 01-21-2012 12:55 PM

Must have been some 630 beefy servers! Alexa 13 and hosted on only 630 simple servers would be impossible...

Yes exactly, I immediately noticed his change of attitude and I was asking myself whether I was the only one noticing it. So I'm glad that you noticed it too. And now he denies it, we have our confirmation that our observations were correct. Now send me some more of that great crack :thumbsup

I take it very personally. I'm sick of being linked to CP, bestiality, scat, etc. because I'm in porn filming a normal act most adults do.

I'm sick of scum taking my hard work and giving it away for free so they can make a profit and hinders my profit.

I'm sick of people like Leaseweb who support these guys.

As for the original post. He's a liar pure and simple. He never received a complaint? Yes we all believe that. :upsidedow

Can you explain why it's a terrible idea? This illegal and extreme stuff gives anti porn campaigners a huge excuse to hate us. Including scat. I would love to see the back of it. And don't give me the childish reply of then they will come after you. They will and they will look stupid.

well if they didn't at least then a raid would be justified

BTW read up on what happened to mininova when they obeyed DMCA takedown notices but didn't follow their own countries requirements

They lost their countries safe harbor protection and didn't gain america's

Which basically fucked them over.

EukerVoorn 01-21-2012 03:53 PM

What is your obsession with scat, Paul? Suffering from constipation? Scat is legal in the Netherlands so it's not relevant, unless it's stolen scat content. Then the stolen aspect of it will make it illegal.

LeaseWeb should handle a DMCA notice as an EU take down request. Then again, filing an EU take down request won't take you anywhere with LeaseWeb. Why do you think LeaseWeb is hosting most of the pirate sites in Europe?

LeaseWeb was raided by FIOD which is the tax law enforcement in the Netherlands. This happened at the request of American justice.

How many Dutch laws do you find yourself abiding by every day?

It's a terrible idea because investigating potentially illegal or criminal material is a job for law enforcement; not for ordinary members of the public, for whom viewing such material, for whatever spurious reason, can be a serious crime.

Furthermore how does a clown like EukerVoorn know why the "illegal" material he spends his time searching for is there? For all he knows it could be there as part of a police operation.
