I'm spending Pattaya's "high season" elsewhere. It gets too crowded this time of year. I'll be back in a few months.

pattaya is a pretty gross place. Fun for a couple days though

Will you be there for Songkran ?

December - February is usually too crowded for me. Sometimes it spills into March. Too much traffic and too many people.

Do more girls come from the province to work during "high season" compared to "low season" ?

No. Just more tourists.

Ehhh, that's a tough call. I don't think it's noticeable if so for general girls. But it may give the illusion of more girls as you will see more girls walking with customers, as the amount of tourists explodes. However, you will notice fewer fat girls during Ramadan when all the Arabs leave.

Another thing you may notice is more girls coming from a certain area, such as an influx of girls from Phuket if they are having a longer than usual raining season. But even then, there are just so many girls that you really don't notice more of them. Though, you may notice less girls on the beach if the police are doing sweeps every night.

What about during Songkran ?

Do girls go back to their province during Songkran ?

Or do more girls go to Pattaya to party with their friends and make money during Songkran ?

The last two days of Songkran in Pattaya are literally a fucking zoo. The main roads are shut down and it's one of the biggest street parties / people shooting water in your face even you'll ever experience. You have not experienced Songkran in Thailand until you've done the last two days in Pattaya. It's madness.

But do girls go home? A few. But you wouldn't notice. It's jammed packed with people. Lots of drunk girls (more than normal), and overall just a giant wet party.
