Whilst you're not paying close to 2k I do have much faith in all my services, and use them on all my own sites, so I do expect positive boost in serps for nearly any keyword.

Yes, I am having to close off my high pr blogs for adult content. Too many mainstream clients pissing and moaning about the words "sex" and "porn. I will be looking into isolating a few blogs just for adult or purchasing another high pr blog network.
