Looking to stabalize and grow the tube listed in my signature. Was hoping more for an active partner but will take the investment and hire it out at the right price.

Other than that, just a few fun things that would cost around $500 to get going. I'd have to hire out most of it because other business is keeping me busy.

In a nutshell... I would like to purchase sites that make money and have been around for at least 2 years. I would then turn those sites around to make a bunch more money by using existing knowledge of how to run, design, program profitable sites as well as implement new ideas not used much in the industry.

Ok, be in touch with you soon, but higher projects have priority.

By the way $500 sounds like a small project, looking for much bigger projects, but of course much serious partner, preferred GFY known people.

The tube from the thread linked in my signature is $4000 for 50%, less for active partners.

As for other stuff, online only? I only mentioned the $500 one because it was cheaper than the tube, have plenty of other things that a cash infusion would help.

Cheers

If money were all it took for an idea to take off then it's not a very good idea. Everyone's got money.

I have a small mainstream business that I have been testing out and so far, very profitable. Been seeking investors for expansion, otherwise will take to long to grow without funding.

If you want to know more, email me - link in sig :thumbsup. Have a record of growing successful businesses in the past, one of which was sold for $3mm two years ago. Side note, my partner screwed me on the deal and I got a whopping $28k out of it.

Ideas are not good to invest in, unless you like to gamble. Most businesses, like another one I am starting requires funding to setup a number of things such as design, marketing, hiring sales staff and buying phones, etc.

I have an idea I've been working on for over a year. The hold up... $$$$$
Takes money to make money if you want to do it right. I've tried a dozen times to start up different things just by busting my ass. But the failure has always taken me back to it takes money to make money.

In less than an hour and a half?

For what it's worth, I may be looking to take on investment money again for buying/selling domains. The last time I did was a GFYer and I made him 30% on his money in a month. Was a nice little experiment. :)

lagcam 01-26-2012 02:34 AM

No reason the thread shouldn't stay alive.

Lot of people looking for either investment or opportunities.........

Pitch away.

Once I passed up an opportunity to buy a domain. It cost over $100k and at the time I only had about $20k liquid and could only maybe rake together $50k at most if I really strained resources.

Someone else pounced on the opportunity and sold the domain less than 4 months later for a million dollars. If an investor was part of that deal, they'd have made a nice killing without even having to sniff a deal like that out (and it wasn't easy to sniff out, trust me).

In other words, sometimes money really is all that's needed. That wasn't the only opportunity like that I had to pass up due to lack of funds available.

It depends on the funds you have. If you have significant funds, look at bizbuysell, the wall street journal biz site. Lots to be had on there at 2 to 3 times cash flow.

If you are talking 20 to 50k, join a group to buy an NYC taxi medallion.

All the stuff on my plate we would have to discuss this and non disclosures would be signed first.
