Google changes their privacy policy and shit...

They sent me 7 fuckin emails about it, figured I'd share it here too...

epitome 01-27-2012 03:41 PM

In a nutshell, their new company wide privacy policy allows you to combine and share internally any piece of information they have on you. In other words, they can make a complete profile of you down to your surfing and email habits.

iSpyCams 01-27-2012 03:49 PM

I kind of assumed they already did that.

Yes, and it looks like you don't have much of a choice either..

Google announces privacy changes across products; users can't opt out

buzzard 01-27-2012 08:04 PM

Google changes their privacy policy and shit...

And shit???

I'd take my privacy a lot more serious than that.
There's a gestapo motive behind google :2 cents:
.

BIGTYMER 01-27-2012 08:29 PM

Keep using google analytics. Tracking people around the web is so fucked...

RyuLion 01-27-2012 08:32 PM

Dear Google user,

We're getting rid of over 60 different privacy policies across Google and replacing them with one that's a lot shorter and easier to read. Our new policy covers multiple products and features, reflecting our desire to create one beautifully simple and intuitive experience across Google.

We believe this stuff matters, so please take a few minutes to read our updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at http://www.google.com/policies. These changes will take effect on March 1, 2012.

Is beginnings of the global 'BEAST' computer network.
It knows what websites you're working on, content you need at any given moment and reports back.

They're gathering for your complete control as a cog in the wheel.
Just watch it.

This and show you search results related to friend or family members.
Meaning your privacy is officialy gone, since anything you ever put on a google product or search for will be kindly and free of charge shared with anyone ever been in your contact lists.

Sure but you are not allowed from theelite since yuo need internet for banking, paying bills and subscribing to services in modern countrys like EU anyway. Sure USA is lacking behind as the third world nation it is becoming but even in that outpost of the world you will need the internet to do business.

Hentaikid 01-28-2012 11:17 AM

Just use a diff. browser for gmail, another one for surfing

iwantchixx 01-28-2012 12:12 PM

It doesnt end at just email and browsing habbits.

I have an android phone. Guess what, it uses google services such as gps, latitude, a contact list and every other gesus google app on the thing. Essentially. EVERYTHING you do is tracked and logged.

iwantchixx 01-28-2012 12:47 PM

I guess I am very bothered by this. It's not necessary to know everything we do. I search for a fucking youtube video while NOT logged in and when I log in later, guess what. it shows up across many parts of google services that I use.

Combine this with Facebook's dirty habits (allowing apis on other sites to be hidden and tracking your habits for facebook, even when not logged in) and you pretty much have zero chance of ever being the random unknown dude on the net just minding his own business.
