Paul, all traffic is not created equal. Dumbass. :)

Traffic is not created equal. Tweaking your pages and adding magic join links is often not enough. Some traffic is worth $0 per 1000, some is worth $10, some is worth thousands. You can't fling it at your ugly ass porn site with horrible ass content and expect it to convert. As for your smart ass comment about buying a few dollars in traffic from me, thanks for proving my point. You were talking about the tube traffic banner I had for awhile which is obviously FEEDER traffic. You could spend $3 or $3,000,000 and it wouldn't help regardless of what you were pushing. What I want to know is how you can read GFY daily, comment in every single business discussion ever and not understand the basics of what people here do. Cheers :thumbsup |
you guys are giving his words way too much attention lol
|
Why do you guys even bother reading his posts to begin with? Do you wanna catch whatever text-transmitted stupidity disease he has?

At the very least, this should have been discussed in one of Paul's existing threads. No sense in spreading the virus.

The thing is, when you're discussing things with Paul, you know going in that you're going up against someone who will completely ignore little things such as logic and fact. Despite that you'll still try your best to get your point across by articulating it in the best way possible. While the end result with Paul will inevitably always be the same, the process will leave you better equipped for when you have a similar discussion with someone who appreciates things such as logic and fact. He's a like real, live practice dummy. Another thing is that his wrongness can sometimes be inspiring. Case in point. You know how he always talks about 'the same old sofa'? Well, I recently saw a very famous Eames chair (this one) being used as a prop in set shot by a well known erotic photographer, immediately thought of Paul, and set up an interview for a piece that will be titled "Beyond The Sofa". Should come out in mid-February so look out for it. Thanks Paul! |
for the record paul has used my services, ive done tours and ads for him and we have done a good amount of business together, i have purchased his content as well, so this is all fun and games and i have nothing against him personally. everyone is a bit odd at times and especially us on gfy heheh
id never get into pissing debate with him but its not too bad to drop a few lines of discussion. |

Stocktrader. Traffic is easy to get, we get some and do nothing to get it. Do we get enough? No of course not, in fact few get "enough" and always looking for more. Does the place it comes from, the samples it sees, the tour page it lands on and a lot of other things like putting it through filters and finding out by stats what works best where? Yes. Does great content convert better than crap content? Ask Met Art and compare with DVTimes. Do you need stats to prove that? :1orglaugh Is it hard to create great content? Yes especially on crap money. Is it hard to create content? No just point the camera. Is it hard to create great quality traffic? Well that depends. If you have a site like Met Art, no. The problem is in creating the content. Yes build it that well and the traffic will come with a little work. Is it hard to create traffic. No getting men to look at porn is about as easy as getting them to eat. So it seems to me after 34 years doing this. Is it hard to get them to buy porn. Never was, they had to Now it's extremely hard. Because all the guys who thought if they give porn away, traffic will come and some will buy. Even when day after day it took more traffic to achieve the same result few were looking at the end game, including me. Getting one or two surfers to look at one porn video is traffic. So "traffic" is easy to get. Getting a million to look at the picture everyday is hard. Getting 1,000 of them to pay to look at it is getting increasingly harder. And that's what puts money into the pockets of the people who produce recorded porn which is the product most use to generate profit. :Oh crap Fletch, go look for the Al Queda beheading videos. Men being killed and it being put online. Did I say it was for sale or for political ends? My fear is without laws governing what goes online, this will result in some guy thinking this is a way to make money. We've already seen tramps beating each other up. |
Beheading videos are not snuff... you cant change the definition of snuff. Snuff is spe, ifically defined as for profit sex kill videos.
Beheading is torture kill videos nowhere near the same snuff implies sex. |
As even wiki says recorded deaths are not snuff
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snuff_film Read first paragraph lol |
"A snuff film is a motion picture genre that depicts the actual death or murder of a person or people, without the aid of special effects, for the express purpose of distribution and entertainment or financial exploitation."
as it has always been defined retard. |
