Exoclick Bot Traffic?

I've had some problems today with some Exoclick CPM traffic. I purchased $50 a day worth of traffic and it exhausted my funds very quickly and the program im promoting only reported 10% of the traffic. For example Exoclick reported they sent over 31,000 views to a link and the sponsor stats only show 2,400! That's $50 down the tubes on traffic that likely wasn't delivered! I sent them an email hours ago with no reply I'll keep everyone posted if they resolve this or not

I ran the same traffic over night it came in allot slower and the traffic converted. The traffic that was sent later in the morning came in fast with 0 conversions!

you be better off buying from juicyads

Are you sure you are not confusing views with clicks? Views are not clicks. If they sent 31,000 views for your link and 10% of them clicked the link, well, thats very good CTR!

I'm not paying for PPC I'm paying for pop under traffic. Every time the page is popped up using my affiliate link it should count as a hit on my program stats.

Another program I was promoting earlier in the night counted all the clicks but another one I was using didn't.

I tested the links they gave me by clicking on them myself and they worked just fine that's why I'm assuming it's the traffic

Correct, also $50 on the network will be used in matter of minutes depending on what countries you select.

The guys in the Barcelona office are gone for the day but feel free to hit me up if you have questions.

Last we work very hard to keep our network clean, so doubt you got any bot traffic from it.

Ok, I thought it was for banner/link impressions. Well, maybe the other sponsor only counts second page clicks?

best thing is hit them up tomorrow

dave90210 01-31-2012 02:27 PM

I selected mostly US, Canada, Australia traffic all the other countries I left out

You can't be serious

EXO Click is one of the best ad networks on the web and their traffic converts very well. Last time I checked bots dont pull out credit cards and join sites.

So I'm sure there's a mixup somewhere.

What program are you sending this traffic too? Can you post the link to the landing page?

well on certain sites its good, but very few, talking about petiteteenager, etc

for clicked you might as well get from traffic-out which is still the best quality

dave90210 01-31-2012 03:09 PM

I was sending the traffic to a FHG from what I hear the traffic that goes to the FHG doesn't get recorded by the sponsor just the clicks to the site from the FHG gets counted

So looks like that's likely why my stats from my sponsor showed a different number

This is where the mixup is.

Try sending directly to the sponsor site.

JosephFM 01-31-2012 03:14 PM

You were sending traffic to a FHG? How did that work out conversion wise? I don't think buying traffic to a FHG is a wise decision but hey, i might be wrong.

SykkBoy 01-31-2012 03:18 PM

I had some issues with exoclick traffic too...
I was paying per click and the time on site was ridiculously little. I wasn't using misleading banners or anything that would lead someone to click and not know what site they are visiting.

I understand that there might not be buyers in the traffic, but when 25% spent less than 3 second on the site? Something's not right.

This was Canada/US traffic only btw.

While I can't say 100% for sure there was some bot traffic mixed in, I can say that something wasn't working out right.

dave90210 01-31-2012 03:21 PM

I didn't make a dime. I got a few order form impressions and that's it
