Looking for membership tracking software.

I'm not looking to rebuild my sites if I do not have too. I'm having issues with members sharing passwords. I'm trying to find a solution to this. The login is serverside so my Merchant provider cannot assist. Does anyone know a software program that can track logins done thru .htpassword

Thank you.

If you are using CCBill as main processor, you can take a look at sliiing their solutions include an anti-password sharing script with automated password recovery solution. :2 cents:

Give us a call if you have any questions about Strongbox or security in general. Ray 979-530-1300. To the best of my knowledge, I'm the only actual licensed security professional in the industry.

That's not a problem. As mentioned in the other thread today, we are well aware that our job is security. We do authentication and authorization, not content management, not billing, not affiliate tracking. We don't mess with any of that, so you don't have to change anything on your site. We just secure the members' area, plain and simple.

Where you end up having to rebuild everything is when different systems get confused about what they are supposed to do. If your CMS (Content Management System) stops just managing content and starts thinking it's a security system, that's when you have trouble. We stick to security, so other things on your site are unaffected.

I have secured my site and server. Thanks to Strongbox I found weaknesses in my website that I was unaware existed. I am incredibly happy with their level of support and found that they genuinely cared about servicing me well! They saved my ass and helped when I found myself leaking bandwidth like a busted water-main.

Many thanks to Ray and Ali for the great customer service they provided.

After a little more then 12 hours Strong Box found a back door into my site .htpass file and

Detailed Report for user ******
197 login attempts by ****** from 134 IP ranges in 28 countries

Wow Ray thank you so much man probably saved my tiny little company!!

Ray, quick question for you. Is it at all possible to secure a site with strongbox and NOT use the wildcard domains? I am in the process of developing a site that will need to be secured but it is rather important that no url changes are required.

I will have a few more requirements when the time comes but at this stage, I'd just like to know about the wildcards.

Cheers ...
