Yep, it's a relatively short runway, so they have to touch down as close to the start as possible. It was extended in the mid 2000s so they land a bit further after the fence now.

Nothing cooler than sitting at the Sunset Grill and having those planes screaming over your head while throwing down some drinks. It's a 'must experience'.

Was just there a couple months ago. Not much beach after a recent storm, but still a must-see experience.

On I-5 by John Wayne airport there is a sign for low flying aircraft. I am pretty sure that is not what they were talking about.
