Platinum X - Keith O Connor - Anyone Know Them ?
 

OK I sold a bunch of content to a guy called Keith O Conner many moons ago... I broke my golden rule and accepted 50% up front with the promise of the other 50% when he received the content...

Needless to say we never received the other 50%... When I first chased him about the money he told me my content was shit and that's why he didn't send the rest of the money...

Then he made excuse after excuse about various DVD deals he was brokering and how they had to go to air and make money before we'd see money...

Every so often he would hit me up with so called "good news" this as been going on for probably over 2 years !!! Every time there was good news it would never ever come to fruition...

Anyways a month or so before Christmas he messaged me to say he had finally done a deal with Platinum X... and they were going to give us an advance and he'd get me some money before Christmas... now in today's financial climate that was very welcome news... and the timming perfect for the holidays...

But long story short... nothing came through, he's ignoring my emails and Skype messages again...

So does any one even know if Platinum X exists... if so any one got any contact details so I can hit them up... does any one know who Keith O Connor even is... yes it sucks, maybe I should of done a bit of background before hand...

I guess bottom line is I except I got burnt... just dont want anyone else to fall into the same trap... :helpme

That is AdultFilmStarContent.com but he does not own Plat X. He just sells their titles from what I understood.

Do you have any contact details for Platinum X then ? If nothing else I want to make sure he hasnt used my content and supplied it to them...

I googled his name and found a few articles that doesn't suggest I am going to have much luck... but as I said it's more about making sure other content providers dont fall into the same trap... getting my money would of just been a nice side note... :mad:

Been having lots of interesting conversations so far today... Spoke to Ralph at Platinum X which was very enlightening...

Also spoke to Tristan at AFSC... but waiting to speak to Loryn to see if there is any resolution to this... :Oh crap

I would like to add, after speaking with Platinum X today, that I don't believe they have done anything wrong, and have simply been used as a name drop by Keith O Connor...

I'm sorry for what has happened to you, but have to say I am glad that for a change someone is able to say something about Keith an COC without getting shit for it. I know a good deal about this scum bag and have a few emails on him I had to use in 2010 to chase down money owed. So not sure if you have any of these or not but if you would like them send me an email [email protected] and I will be more then happy to pass them on to you.

If I'm not mistaken, Platinum X has a history of getting content and not paying for it too. At least that is what I heard from one producer.

Stay as far away from Keith O'Connor as possible. Very bad experience with content purchase. Took me a month and a half but after a few threats, I finally got my money back at least.
