It's hard to believe some of the ways people are getting rich these days, when some guy has to shovel shit in a ditch for his entire life to make 0.1% of 200 million.

It's not hard to believe at all.

It's as simple now as it was 100 years ago. If you are a star you get paid; if you are a cog you get shit. Anyone with 4 limbs from darkest Africa can shovel shit in a ditch. The number of talented artists who can deliver what Facebook asked for is microscopic.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good artist. The style of his artwork doesn't appeal to me personally, but I can appreciate his talent. But, like most artists, his personal life seems to be a wreck.

Well it is not as if he just found out he had facebook stock. He has known about it for years and no doubt been calculating and maybe even leveraging his eventual potential payday all this time.

He sold half for 10 million a few years back. So it would have been 400 million
