Must suck using expensive software like that and your new affiliates can't even login. I was gonna use them on a huge blog network.
Moving on now to a sponsor that does want my traffic :)

I guess the sponsor will have to approve your account first, nothing unusual with NATS programs. Wait or contact support to get approved.

Because having to approve you first isn't annoying enough they now also don't even mention it. They just waste your time by letting you try to login for 10 minutes.
Great. I can't wait to use them.

Chrome seems to solve a lot of problems logging into sites for me lately.
But I dont think that was your point :)

If it was mine try again pls. Haven't heard of the issue before and want to make sure the right info shows after a new affiliate signs up. We have manual approvals on new accounts

Yes probably that but will it kill them to put message how account wait for approval instead throwing fake errors ?

Yah indeed. Very nice way of losing new affiliates fast.

I have a very simple rule about such kind of stuff...

When I hunt for new sponsors in a given niche I search the sponsors during a day or two and make a list of them. Then in a single morning I signup to all of them.
The addition of their stuff to the database is on first confirmed first added basis, and ONLY sponsors that confirmed in that same day are promoted.
Basically, when I start signing at 9 AM and finish the signup process at near 10:30 AM, everything that is not confirmed until 4 PM is discarded.

As usual you will find sponsors that will require no confirmation, others that will confirm in several minutes (PimpRoll comes to mind) and others that will take a couple of hours.
You will get your confirm mails from dying or semiabandoned programs in several days (2 to 5 usually) and dead programs will not confirm at all.

It's not the most refined process, but it's fast and easy.

Some sponsors have argued that they require manual approval to stay away from carders and similar stuff. Well, I don't see CCBill doing manual approvals when I signup to promote some ccbill sponsor... I tguess that says it all.

I agree with you, it's a pain in the ass if you don't know and wonder why strange error messages appear

blonda80 02-06-2012 07:02 AM

The problem is that many of these sponsors, who have these "errors" for approve, doesn`t even bother to email you after they approve your account. Some of them doesn`t even answer to your emails.
