Affiliates and program Owners - ACH - Yay or Nay??

Subject pretty much describes it - Just want to do a quick poll and see who likes it and if it is a make or break factor in your decision to send traffic or not. Or if not ACH - any other options that factor into your decision.

Currently we offer checks, payoneer, paxum, and Wire.

Throw in your :2 cents:

I'd love to hear from you.

No ACH here in Canada, but here's a bump.

How are things going at Mr. Skin? See ya in Phx?

I'm either very dumb here or right on the ball....

Are you talking about the payment clearing? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automated_Clearing_House

Its like Direct deposit for your affiliate payments.

BruceM 02-07-2012 03:12 PM

We offer ACH to our USA affiliates and the advantages are that it is a lot cheaper than wires while still going directly into the affiliates' bank accounts. We also still offer checks, wires, and Payoneer.

If all (or at least the majority) of the sponsors would have ACHs, then YAY, but since I'm going to need at least one other service I would say it would be more important for me to see the new redpass solution added to the list och Paxum, Payoneer, check and wire.

So if ACH could be used for most of my sponsors, then I'd worry about it, but to have only a handful use it, it becomes more of a hassle to follow up and check upon, so no, better to stick with one of the other solutions and then transfer via ACH out of those in a bigger lump sum.

ahhh OMG, lol.. I suppose wires are used abroad, but for ccbill US affiliates ACH is offered, so maybe we do...

Question to ccbill or ccbill affiliates, do they offer ACH, if so, then we do :2 cents:

The question was for affiliates. Since you are the only pay site owner in the history of the world that isn't also an affiliate, your response to the question is meaningless. Like all of your posts.

In addition the Payoneer prepaid card payout option, we also offer US ACH and a worldwide local bank transfer service. This can be enabled for any partner or affiliate program currently paying via Payoneer.

You can either contact your Payoneer account manager to have it enabled, or feel free to get in touch with me for more info.

ACH is a strong plus and my favorite option if free as it should be. If it's a sponsor I don't expect to make over $500 a month with then if they do not offer either ACH, Paypal or Check I won't even signup for the program. Wires aren't worth it for that.

You are talking about ACH and I think you must be talking about some kind of payment method system. Although, ACH abbreviation can also mean several different things, such as:

Aluminum Corp. of China
Automated Clearing House
The chemical compound acetylcholine
Alberta’s Children’s Hospital

Payoneer, Paxum and Wire are more well-known payment systems.

But it's asking people who promote other programme Gary. ACH is used to pay people.

Every other pay site in the world apart from yours promotes other sites

As you don't promote any, your vote is meaningless.

Hope that helps you understand a little better

It's not a make or break decision in sending traffic but it would be nice to have as an option. I'd be very careful about who got my bank info though.

Oh finally after years of me telling you pay sites promote other sites you listened. I rem you screaming at me that no one else did it. Now if only you'd rewrite the copy on your affiliate page to make it sound good.

Well done. Baby steps and all that. But I would have thought promoting amateur stuff would work better with your traffic than high end porn. What are your ratios like?

OY 02-09-2012 01:39 AM

Speaking with experience with ACH payments (not talking about affiliate payouts ? that is a separate subject) since 1996/97 I can wholeheartedly say that if you have ANY American traffic to your sites YOU SHOULD HAVE ACH as an option for your customers.

That said, while it a few years ago was known to increase sales by 8% - 10% on your US based sales, it now has decreased. I would dare to say to somewhere between 2% - 7%.

So, if you as a program/site owner want to earn yourself and your affiliates more money ? then it is a must. Even 2% more makes a difference. IMHO and speaking from experience.
