Went to the computer shop, bought 2 new computers and some peripherals for our new office. Since it isn't finished, I went to my partner's house to leave the stuff there. The same minute I got off the car, two idiots around 18 pointed me with a gun, took my wallet and my car and ran away. Went to police station and 2 hours until they finally paid me some attention and 2 hours of paperwork, total of4 (four) hours until I finished reporting credit cards, IDs, the car ID and such where they reported this as "assault". The thieves were in another continent by the time they even care to listen

After the police nightmare called the insurance company and they told me "oh, I'm sorry for what you went through today but you're not covered for assault, but robbery" Me:"Whaaaaat?!?!?!" them:"ah, yes, read your policy, under new regulations we don't cover assault anymore" (even though I PAID for that and they never let me know).

So right now I'm 2.5k down + a car + a shitload of legal processes (yes, I'll get my money somehow)

To make it worse, my lawyer (also one of my best friends) couldn't stop laughing at my bad luck! At least he bought me a couple beers and sandwiches to cheer me up

I live in Buenos Aires, which happens to have a lower crime rate than most US cities over 500k inhabitants. Punk idiots are everywhere, so well, bad luck. And yes, they got the computers that were in the car. At least I saved the monitors I bought yesterday! :thumbsup
