So I have quite a few dumbasses on IGNORE - but I want an extra feature added - Eric, in please.
 

How can the people I have on IGNORE also be "gone" so I don't even have to see their threads being posted? Typically even the threads they start are annoying...

There used to be a plugin called FfVb (made by a GFYer) that would literally ERASE anyone you wanted on the boards. It was AWESOME.

It is not about trolling - it is about annoying people who cannot say anything but negative things (not about me or my company, but in general) all around.

Also called dumbasses.

I tend to read and browse GFY a lot, as a way of realxing a few minutes during the day. And likewise as you, I have zero acceptance for the dumbasses and have a good number of them on ignore. I can provide a lit for you of people who just take up unnecessary time, but still don't solve your problem with having to browse through their threads in the forum.

Stuart has no interest in continuing the project. People here raved about it and I think he mentioned getting a few dollars in donations.

The source code is available for anyone to continue along with the project.

If you use Firefox, you can install GreaseMonkey and use this script to completely remove people who are on your Ignore List.

Works on Chrome too. Just click install and save as if it was any other Chrome extension.

It works quite nicely too. I just tested it by adding Paul Markham to my ignore list and he's GONE.

I gave up on the ignore feature. It's easy to push past the noise and skip posts...

Really good indeed. One flaw, it still shows threads of the ones on your ignore list. But it is much better than without it! :thumbsup

Yeah...it said that it would block those too, but I'm not having any luck figuring that out.

I don't like ignoring anyone, I just used that old coot as a test.
