i think ill pass, i keep my old vhs versions in the boxes since they are the last version before lucas fucked the whole movie up. the whole han shot first thing really pissed me off, he is usiong moral christian shit to change films 20 years after they been out...

i watched then original the other night while coding sites.

pornguy 02-09-2012 06:37 AM

I dont think I will see them as they bring them out in 3D. not a big fan of movies that were converted and not really shot that way. The glasses are always a pain in the ass and feels like my vision is restricted.

TrustCash 02-09-2012 06:38 AM

Yeah... if you're below 15... I'd rather watch Barbarella.

No shit. Can't believe he thought adding this scene was a good idea.

Maybe looks a little better in grainy youtube quality, but even on DVD it was horrid.

And this:

This is just laughable !!

Dear lord !! :Oh crap

PR_Glen 02-09-2012 09:58 AM

it's like he goes out of his way to piss off his fan base... we all know what this is leading up to though.. as soon as this 3d nonsense goes away, which may take a few years if hes going to do this with all six films, he's going to get release the CLASSIC versions of the films and fans will go ape shit again. THEN, he plans the next set of films... that will include carebears and my little pony characters to help dive deeper into the 4-10 year old girls market base.

until he drops or starts letting someone who cares run stuff instead its going to be more of the same for the next decade.

candyflip 02-09-2012 10:04 AM

Star Wars Old Republic stuff is the best SW related stuff to come out in the past 20 years.

magicmike 02-09-2012 10:07 AM

Meh, I've given him enough of my money to keep seeing the same old thanks.

Yea..I don't want to think about how many copies of the original movies I owned...i still remember being so excited about having letterbox vhs versions lol...looked great on that 13" TV at school

SykkBoy 02-09-2012 10:24 AM

sticking with my VHS copies of the original trilogy and the original release DVDs of the second trilogy. No double dipping, no fucked up stupid updates.

George Lucas has enough of my money.

DWB 02-09-2012 10:34 AM

Ehhhhh, wasn't impressed at all. Didn't seem to be much "3D" going on other that some depth of field shots.

If you want to see it again on the big screen, it's worth the trip. However, if you want some whiz bang 3D action, save your money.

I'll go see the Original Trilogy again no doubt when they come out in 3D.

The other 3 movies though can suck my balls!

I watched a silent film recently and was thoroughly entertained. #truth

CurrentlySober 02-09-2012 12:10 PM

What is 'VHS' ?

Tat2Jr 02-09-2012 12:14 PM

I hate it when people use "Star Wars" to describe any film other then the 1977 version I saw in the theater in 2nd grade. "The Phantom Menace" is not and never will be "Star Wars".

Me too. Two of them. Which ones?

I watched The Artist (2011), and loved it. The Cameraman (1928) starring Buster Keaton, is considered a silent treasure.
