Thoughts on Promoting Through Tube Sites?
 

Hi,

What's everyone's thoughts on posting several 2:00min preview clips out to tube sites? Is it a good way to get your brand out there or a good way to screw yourself out of sales?

We have a few videos on some tube sites as well as a YouTube Channel, a decent amount of hits (especially youtube - sfw obviously), a few sales judging by the trackers that are set up. But I'm trying to figure out if it's a smart or not.

problem with youtube is anyone can flag your video and get it taken down...the porn tubes..can generate traffic but getting somone who is viewing free porn to then pay for porn isnt easy unless you are offering something they are not already getting on the free tube.

I guess I can't see why it would possibly screw you out of sales. It's obviously a good way to get your name out there, especially if you watermark the video or set up a sign with the url so it's visible in the camera shot or something.

I think the tubes can be beneficial if you aren't touting very generic porn. 2 minute clips might not fly as well anymore, since a lot of them prefer at least 5 minutes.

If its good unique content then it will no doubt increase sales if the clips are complete and I would suggest more in the 5-7 minute range.
