How long do you test out a new affiliate before dropping them?

After 25k of traffic I start to change a few things around and after 50k of traffic and no sales I move on.

It really depends on the amount of traffic you have an how you convert on other sponsors with that traffic. Before you do leave a sponsor talk with them and make sure you are doing whats best to promote their sites.

That can be done for a big site like freeones(even 50k and no sale is too much imo). For my self I def drop them after 0:5k

Not enough traffic to dump any one sponsor IMO. Like Freeones Roald :winkwink: I do it a bit differently, but all in all I will blast 100k targeted at a sponsor. Not gallery or blind bullshit. If the ratios come back anything less than 1:2,500 I am gone immediately. If they come back around that realm, I tweak and redo.

exactly twice as long as from the middle, to one end...

It does of course matter how you promote the site and what your traffic source is. 0:5000 would be crap and reason to move on if it is pure SE traffic.

So it all depends and this thread is the same as asking what is the best converting sponsor. It all depends :thumbsup
