first page of Google search results

Hello buddies,

I'm confuse about something that happened with my website "www.viciadosnosexo.com"...
For several months appeared in first page of google results with the keyword "sexo".
One day, suddenly disappeared... never understood why. I logged into google webmasters central, but didn't got any notification from google.

Do you have any clue why this happened?
And what I need to do so I can recover the position again? :)

Should I work in getting quality backlinks?
Is meta keywords important? What the best keywords to choose?
Any other idea?

I really appreciate your help :)
Thank you!

Well having your site actually be online would help. Database errors at both that site you mentioned and in your sig
edit: they're on now.

Google doesn't look at your meta keywords. It's almost all bounce rate, content and quality backlinks.

Um yeah they do look at Meta.

But not just that. Its an over all package of the site and down time can and will greatly effect it.

Major changes also.

did you make any changes just before it nosedived? I've managed to make 'improvements' to something static before now that have sent me down to page #18+ and taken a lot to recover from.

Your site is down again. If you've had a lot of downtime then that could explain your drop.

Also Google can delist you if you post lots of duplicate content.

I happens. Just keep working on your site and google will bless you

Google can punish you if you link to websites that they consider 'bad'. You should check all the sites you link to to make sure they're clean.

Do you have Google Analytics on all of your pages? Check the source of the traffic coming into your site and see if that has changed (non-search engine traffic).

Good luck!
