whats best / favorite place to submit blogs for links?

ive been using x blog submitter.... and looking for more.
any others like this?

single site blog directories are ok too if they are functional but too many are dead... :/

Why give them a hardlink on your front page when your link on there doesn't carry much weight after a few weeks!

I'm using http://addyourblogs.com/ and http://www.porndao.com/webmasters/bulk-submit.php
they are working and aproving new blogs.
and also twan directories is place where i submit my blogs.

I never saw any traffic from them so i assume i didnt get approved
