Go ahead shoot me with a .40 cal Discreet Body Armor
there's a lot of him still exposed.
Discreet or not someday a smart killer will go for the head.
not hating on it..but it they need to test that from a distance of atleast 6 feet not point blank..so the bullet reaches its max velocity.
"We stand behind our products.. LITERALLY". lol nice
wow, good stuff, zero penetration

Plenty of shooters around here will tell you its not hollywood and a head shot in a combat situation with a hand gun is a tough shot. Im sure once they put that body armor into a production piece it will cover a LOT more. |
head shot game over
not saying that it wouldn't stop a FMJ, but why would you test it on a HP?
shoot them in the legs, then walk over and carefully take aim
Will it stop a knife to the neck?
Come on people, its good protection suite, but not miracle armor, cant protect you from head shots and knife in neck...

Reminded me of this

That't actually not meant to be worn like a vest. It's a padfolio. (for a writing pad) http://www.discreetbodyarmor.com/ind.../dba-padfolio/
It appears they don't offer a vest yet. |
Something's not right. Wouldn't the bullet - even at point blank range before it's up to speed - at least push him a little?

but real life is not like in the movies |
i forgot to mention, a bullet is at it's maximum velocity the moment it leaves the barrel.
(there are a few minor exceptions that can go either way, but is too minute to worry about) for all practical purposes, the bullet starts slowing down as soon as it exits the barrel :2 cents: |
