How do you mix two powders together
What is the best "consumer" way to mix two dry powders perfectly together for dietary supplement making?
|
in a liquid
|
I once saw baby laxative and some other white substance mixed by shaking in a tupperware container ... But that was by a distributor not a consumer.

What are you mixing your "supplements" with? Mannitol, quinine, lactose?

When making thermite I typically mix the iron oxide and the aluminum powder in a plastic bag by shaking it.
|
Pour them in a sieve and shake away
|
i think youd want to make sure the grains are the same size and then just mix them by shaking or even by putting them into a rolling drum as you pour both in at the same time

I finely grind the sulphur and charcoal seperately, and then it goes on the scale. I add the finely ground potassium nitrate and mix carefully 75 parts potassium nitrate, 10 parts sulphur, 15 parts charcoal. Dont get it wet, and be sure to pack it very well and use a long fuze.

Shaking can separate powders. A ball mill / rock tumbler does a good job. For safe powders, such as for cooking, use a sifter.
