Nothing exits the realm of custom application here :D

Not sure what's the issue here.. That's a common feature of many video formats because of Y'CbCr subsampling, not limited to ffmpeg. I guess there are some formats that allow odd resolutions but I wouldn't recommend using such.

I think I need it to crop off the pixel it can't handle and this is a fairly common requirement i'm sure.
I'm about to go searching for a solution for this needed rounding. I'm fucked without one on this. The resolutions are totally variant on these videos.
