Whitny Houston....
So who's watching the funeral? One more day and it will be all over.
|
Who died?

I turned the TV on to watch with my lunch, and changed the channel, but not before this:
"Later today, we will have an interview with ONE OF Whitney Huston's TOP Spiritual Advisors". Um... What? What does a "spiritual advisor" do except lie to people, tell them what they want to hear and build false hope? And how much does he or she charge a super-star? Probably an insane amount. And "ONE OF"? How many of these losers was she paying? What an incredible scam. |
What kind of weirdo would watch or want to watch the funeral of a crackhead?
|
I'm too educated to watch a celebrity funeral ...
|
Imagine how stunned you would have been if twenty years ago someone told you that by 2012 the original members of GnR, Motley Crue and Poison would all be alive but Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston would be dead junkies.

How many people attending/watching the funeral even spoke her name in the past two decades? No denying she once had a great voice...but these days she's only famous for being infamous.

All I'm getting at is drug addicts die everyday and no one gives a shit. Why does everyone care about whitney houston? That's right cause she's famous. Someone that had a good voice but never wrote any of her own music. Not so talented if you ask me.

I really enjoyed the service. As someone new to church who is basically against religion in general I found the experience very moving. It was nice to be able to step inside her church and say good by. I commend the family for allowing it to be televised.

Well this thread went a little crazy.

Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977 in the bathroom of his Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. He was 42 at the time of death. He had been on the toilet, but fallen off onto the floor, where he lay in a pool of his own vomit. Panicked, his staff contacted an ambulance, which rushed him to nearby Baptist Memorial Hospital, where, after several attempts to revive him, he died at 3:30 pm CST. His autopsy was performed at 7:00 pm http://oldies.about.com/od/elvisdeat...elvisdeath.htm Thousands of fans converged on Memphis in the days following Elvis Presley's death, so many that President Carter ordered 300 National Guard troops to the area to maintain order. All city buildings in Memphis immediately lowered their flags to half-staff. http://oldies.about.com/od/elvisdeat...visfuneral.htm I am not comparing Whitney to Elvis as artists who touched me musicaly, just for the cause of death... And so what if they where popular and touched thousands of people... |
