My biggest pet peeve is when an automatic pistol is supposed to be empty, and it just goes click, but the slide isn't locked back.

One thing I always find funny is when someone pulls a gun, there is usually a cocking sound made even though nobody cocked a gun. For some reason, just pulling a gun out of your pocket makes that noise.

Same with knives. When someone pulls a knife it makes that metallic "schwing" sound.

These 2 are at the top of my list of hated things in movies and car not starting in horror movies.

the constant portrayal of pure evil characters in movies has been ruining good stories for a long time now--because they don't really exist for the most part.
