Another 4 years of Obama ??????????????

If I was a betting man I would bet on it.

baddog 02-21-2012 08:50 PM

That would be a safe bet. The Republicans are too stupid to stop it from happening.

PornMD 02-21-2012 08:54 PM

I wouldn't have thought so even just a half year ago, but this is looking pretty grim. It's looking like Romney can't even hold what should have been a safe lead and there's no way Santorum would win a general election. Newt doesn't seem to have much chance but even if he did, he's quite a scumbag. Ron Paul would have a chance to win the general election but no one in power wants him to, so the media completely ignores him.

FWIW, maybe if he doesn't have to worry about getting re-elected again, he might actually make a bigger difference in office in his second term.

Joshua G 02-21-2012 08:56 PM

AIPAC will ensure obama is not re-elected. think october suprise.

Im not happy to say it but I do not think we have a viable alternative , I do not think he accomplished much though

Fetish Gimp 02-21-2012 09:19 PM

Obama staying or leaving would make no difference.

People seriously think that anybody could pull the USA out of a recession which was in the making for decades within four years? And people seriously think that anybody that comes next will be able to?

The problem as I see it is that government means very little. It's corporations and their armies of lobbyists and their huge pockets that have been running things for decades now.

Elections are only a means by which the populace is given the impression they have a choice, that they can make a difference when in reality it's always the same people behind the curtain and their bags of cash that are running the show.

And if you want to sit on the throne you gotta play by their rules, else you never will.

I saw a bumper sticker today that said
"It's not left vs. right, It's the State vs. You"

Well, I am a betting man and I'd love to put a bet on it if someone will give me the action...

No, its all about people that didn't get any worse from what W left us with. I'm a shy republican, but I will vote for stability rather than another "restore what it used to be" monger sellout.

The republican field is just atrocious. If they were a baseball team they'd be the 62 Mets.

Sad to say, I wouldn't be suprised if we see another four years. By the end of his first term, Obama will have piled more debt on us in four years than every other president for the first 225 years of our nation's history, but the smart republicans are sitting this one out so we may get four more years of fail.

The smart republicans know that with the huge pile of shit Obama created trying to fix a small problem, 2013-2016 is going to suck. Medicare has been ruined. Social security is a time bomb. Obamacare is only 25% implemented and insurance rates have already gone up 40% to cover those costs. Whoever is president 2013-2016 will preside over the worst economic implosion in our history, so smart republicans aren't running for that job. Santorum may not realize it, but I'm sure Gingrich sees it so I'm not sure why he's sacrificing himself. I guess he figures it's it's last shot at the oval office, that 2016 will be too late for him.

The smart republicans are waiting until AFTER the bills come due for Obamacare and the other trillions in debt he's created and the whole thing comes crashing down. They know that if Obama stays to take the blame, in 2016 the republican is guaranteed a landslide like Reagan had after Carter.

No, you are wrong. There is nothing stable about Obama. Decline is not stability. :2 cents:

Shame Paul Ryan or Chris Christie or even David Petreus isn't in the race. Petreus would kick Obama's arse.

Just about everything in your post is, at best, factually inaccurate.

George Bush was elected into a Presidency where he had extra cash left over from Clinton. When he left office we were in the red by Trillions...

It is fact. Look it up.

Most of it wasn't even put on the books till Obama took office. Wars, Medicare part D, etc etc etc. That is where the lionshare of debt lays.

I think it will be Mitt vs Obama, and Obama will win.

I think the US is at the lowest point since the Great Depression. It wasn't caused by Obama; For that matter, it wasn't really caused by Bush either - It was caused by greed, both with the banks and the general public. This is not a four year fix, so we shouldn't expect Obama to just suddenly fix it.

I don't believe McCain / Palin would have done any better.

As for the current Republican field, well, whatever. I haven't been paying too much attention. I'll wait until they have picked their candidate before giving it too much thought.

porno jew 02-22-2012 09:13 AM

yes the issue goes back to the early 70s when the power elite began to disengage themselves from the social contract and the rest of the america. obama inherited the disaster that was the result.

It would be a relief to go 2 terms for the simple fact that it would be a lame session without him worrying about re-election again. Both parties can just go ahead and start running a new batch of snacktacular mixed nuts for 4 years.

A bit off subject, but you can also see the signs of severe inflation coming or I did. I don't eat processed food and the last time I did was years ago. Anyway, my niece was over and wanted to eat at a fast food place so I took her. I just couldn't believe the prices and how much smaller the portion sizes were. Prices were up about 20% and portion sizes down 25%.

much of the increase in food costs is tied to fuel and transportation costs. watch food costs skyrocket IF there is a strike on iran.
