The best free server control panel?
 

What's the best free server control panel? I know of Webmin and Virtualmin, what else should I look at?

Webmin is well known but not really a hosting kind of panel, more sysadmin style

ISPConfig is more what you are looking for I guess

Ok, thanks, will look at that. I also saw a controlpanel named Kloxo that looked pretty nice.

Btw, I will most likely sign up for the server very soon. ;)

Just wanted to mention Kloxo. It does everything, but you need to have some knowledge of linux and other server side stuff to get it going fully. I was OK with it for a while, then an unmissable CPanel promo came out at my host and well... I switched :)

Never heard of that, I guess their supported platforms is their main issue (no 64 bit)

The paid ones include Cpanel, Plesk and Direct Admin by the way

why not just spend the couple of $$$$ on directadmin ?

Some hosts provide the CP for you at no charge. Here at M3Server we have designed our own control panel in house. We update as we get feedback from clients. Always adding more features to it for our users.
