Judge Mark Martin said there wasn't enough evidence to convict 46-year-old Talaag Elbayomy of the summary offense. It was basically one man's word against another's, the judge said.

Martin received testimony from Elbayomy, Perce and Mechanicsburg Police Sgt. Brian Curtis who received the complaint from Perce. Curtis did not witness the alleged attack, Martin said.

why is that? there was no evidence, witnesses, anything. just because he was a muslum he should be guilty?

On the one video the cop says the guy admitted to him the night of the altercation that he grabbed the guy and tried to remove the sign from his neck. (changed his story in court though)

This is clearly a case of preferential treatment by the judge to a fellow muslim and the judge shouldn't be able to practice law ever again.

I would have thought in most cases admitting your crime to a cop immediately after an incident then changing your story in court would have been enough to show he was lying / guilty.
