Why do programs use iframes for Flash banners?
 

why not just give affiliates the embed code the same way YouTube does? or even have affiliates host the banner like they do with any other type of banner? why iframes?

At Crakrevenue we use an Iframe for the simple reason that we can load the iframe with best offers for specific country and set a geo tracking code. This way our affiliates will maximize their revenues from their traffic because we will offer the surfer from france an ad for a french product, from germany a german product, UK, Spain....

Most affiliates using our Geo Iframes are killing it at the moment.
