Why can't i see Google ads
 

Just normal ads on the right side of the listings?
Ofcourse first i thought my FF adblocker. Disabled it, nothing...tried IE...nothing, downloaded Chrome...nothing.
What the hell am i doing wrong?

No, i mean in general. I can't see them at all. There are no ads. It's empty. With every browser i try.

If you are searching for english terms that are not too generic from the Netherlands there are most likely no people advertising.

Happens all the time for me.

if you mean on search results i'm just getting 2 at the bottom on page 1 then one at the top and one at the bottom of subsequent pages. nothing to the side.

Goddamnit, why can't i figure that out myself.

This is something that bugged me for a long time that i'm forced to use Google for local listings. I want to see Google as a random American...any idea how to do that?

at the bottom you should be able to switch it to .com

I know but that doesn't change anything really.

Whatever it is it doesn't work.

Maybe you have it blocked in your hosts file?

lets me stay in .com instead of getting bounced to .co.uk

Still shows local ads.

replace "COUNTRY" with "US" or "UK", CA, etc.

replace "keyword" with the keyword you're interested in seeing ads for.
