question about blog network
when building multiple blogs how many posts would you start with ?
also how many words per post ?

The more the better.

I start out with 8-10 posts and each post is about 3 sentences in length which has been working good for me.

Serious question: Why only 3 sentences? Why not longer?

with 200 words per post
even to build a small network that would cost a fortune

That tends to be the average of my posts lengths, some blogs I write much larger posts but I really haven't noticed much difference between really long posts and short to the point posts.

10 to 500 words, trying to keep the lengths of the posts a bit varied

ding ding real bloggers dont use a set length for blog post, google is obsessed with controlling everything you dont think they will notice a pattern of exactly the same blog post?

As if Google will penelize you for writing daily great articles which are 200 words instead of 150 1 day and 300 the other day.

Can you say for sure they wouldnt? Why chance it? What if it was the difference between ranking #1 and #2? Sure your not being penalized on the surface because your #2. I dont know for sure so Im not going to take chances.
