What's The Idea Behind E-mails w/ No Subj Line, No Text, No Nothing
 

I am noticing an uptick in the volume of emails arriving which only have address headers, no subject line, no text, nothing but the addressing info.

Does anyone know what the purpose of this is? Are they like spam tracer bullets, or is it just some spam program gone wrong?

Easy to just delete them, but I am curious why someone would make the effort if there is nothing in it for them... :)

What does it accomplish for a spammer to send such an email with nothing in it? I presume there is some sort of reason the people sending out such emails are doing so.

Speaking of which, I have 4 PowerMacs and 16 Mac Pro's working non-stop 24/7. I remember hitting 700 quid/day net profit on Amazon marketplace. I was 21 and still living with my parents. When you're young, you have to boast, you just can't help it. I was thinking about buying a house for a 2000 quid/week mortgage but common sense got the best of me. Thank fuck. In the end I just went out and bought a new car. A Citroen, of all things. Success is a fucking downfall if anything. My mother saw the stats and was like "bloody hell", the prime minister doesn't even make that much. I was just coming up then.

Actually, I was the one who showed the stats to her.... I figured I needed some cheap help and my mum was like OK, anything for my son, just make sure to pay the 20 quid/week rent at the end of the month and I'm happy. And the rent was only put in place because I was an asshole to my father during my teenage years... total regret by the way, I was a fucking dickhead to him for no reason. End result of some slick talk & bullshit, 20 quid a week requested but I must've paid her no more than about 50 quid over the next year (thanks to Del Boy for the lessons). :1orglaugh

I have the Post Office coming to pick up 12 custom i7 machines in the morning and I already downed 500ml of 40% whisky (yes, the cheap shit without an e)... I only have 1 of them half ready.
