Ominous (But Still Cool) Clouds In New Zealand
This particular formation is an example of Undulatus asperatus?meaning ?agitated waves??which was proposed as a separate cloud classification in 2009 by? wait for it? the founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society. (I'm serious.)

Really cool photo.

really cool, but I think if I was a member of the cloud appreciation society, I would petition to name it something a bit more ominous

You get the most incredible clouds in NZ.
I was in a super market car park once and the sky was so incredible that everything went silent and people just stopped what they were doing to look. People where stopping their cars in the middle of the road and getting out. Very creepy actually..... 'Aotearoa' is the Maori word for New Zealand and it means 'Land Of The Long White Cloud' |
awesome!!!

New Zealand is Gods country. I had an amazing time there and most everywhere you go looks like it should be in a Rockwell painting
