Why is it that lately in all the movies, clips, etc, they usually portray the woman in a relationship, as taller, more gorgeous and usually better looking than the man?

and in holywood movies they usually portray a young 35 year old female with an old 70 year old man, like it's the norm... But it's not realistic.
