Need Something like the Kindle Fire

Was looking at the ipda2 and it is kinda expensive for what I want.

Then I was looking at the Kindle Fire, decent size, except
it has NO Storage or wat to plug even an SD card or Thumb Drive in.

Ipad was also a little big.

I am just looking for something to place photo examples on, but LOTS of them.
I will not be in Wifi range all the time, and do NOT want a Plan, since I wont use it much.

What other Ipad / Kindle things are out there....

You might try the Barnes and Noble Nook. It is about the size of the kindle only it has an SD card slot.

Look on craigslist for a used PSP, you could probably find one for $50 or maybe even less. They take sony memory stick which you could probably also find used.

Get a used iPad for about $50-$60 more than a Fire... http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Apple-iPad-1...d=839&_ipv=all

Google and ASUS have been collaborating on a co-branded 7-inch Android tablet, with a launch as early as May, according to sources, challenging low-cost rivals and the iPad with a $199-249 price tag. The fruits of the partnership, whispered to the runes readers at DigiTimes by industry sources, will take on the NOOK Tablet and the Kindle Fire, with ASUS selected for its willingness to flex to Google's requirements.

I got a bunch of HP Touchpads for $99 during the firesale. They're all running Android 4.0 and are the best gadget deal we've ever gotten.

You can find them on Craigslist for around and under $200. Still well worth it at that price.

My kids also have a Nook Color and one of the new Nook Tablets. Both have been flashed with full Android. ICS on the Nook Color.

I want to be able to show models different poses and or photo examples.

When I held the ipad, it seemed a little big, but maybe not.

so a PSP screen is to small.

I looked at the Kindle Fire and it seemed perfect if I could put a CF, SD, or thumb drive or any other storage device, if it doesn't come with much storage.

The kindle has a Cloud, but I will not be close to wifi most of the time.
