Sexkey: Anyone Still Building SK Sites?
 

Thinking about doing some new stuff with Sexkey. But I've been out of that part of the biz forever. So...

{1} Who here is actively building new SK sites?
{2} How are you bringing in traffic to them? From your existing network or perhaps submitting to link lists?
{3} Are there even any link lists or directories left?

I have a bunch of old Sexkey sites that still get some traffic and make the occasional sale. From what I understand they don't just automatically add your site to their link list when you build a new site so the days of building a bunch of sites and making bank off the traffic from their member's area is over, but it can still be a decent way to make some cash.

I used to make a living off turning TGP galleries into Avs sites. Nice bank too, but that's long over now. You'd have to have your own traffic these days. Honestly how many surfers can be out there that are willing to join up to sites that still offer "free meberships". Can't be too many.

Thought about putting a few small mobile sites together and putting them under Sexkey as a test. Would probably turn them into Android apps as well.

Those used to make bank. You did a sexkey site and then duplicated It to a agecheck and adultcheck site good traffic from their internal traffic lists and the traffic was premium. Sold paysites like hotcakes.

Ah, the good old days of banging out a guaranteed few hundred $ in 15 minutes flat. AdultCheck was a fucking gold mine. :2 cents: Age Check wasn't bad either... or CyberAge, or whatever the fuck it was called.

I still do the occasional Sexkey site, i just promote them as i would any other site.
I'm running at 1:120 all-time with sexkey (1:128 for this year), i keep intending to make more and have a few plans to do so.

I guarantee that EVERY SINGLE fucking Indian that reads this will head straight to Sexkey to sign up. :1orglaugh

Sexkey is still around. 15 years now and never missed an affiliate payout.

Lot's of our affiliates still actively building AVS sites/doorways. It's still easy money if you grease the traffic.

Example: create a new "tab" on a blog. Call it premium content if you want (maybe more pics, clips, stories, whatever) and make people sign up (free) to SexKey to access that "premium" content. Bingo. $25 for ever free join to access that special area of your blog.

That's just one method.

As for link lists and directories. Yeah there are a lot of them still around, and most of them list AVS sites still.

Create a page or new tab on a TUBE style site, but require people to join SexKey to gain access to the contents of that page/tab.

You can do this in many different ways. I'll go with the most obvious.
At the top of your tube, you have tabs: Home, Newest Videos, Browse Videos, Categories, Webcams, Signup, Login. (*If you don't rely on users to upload your content, you could/should just remove the Signup and Login tabs*)

ADD a new tab. Call it "Premium Videos". When clicked, the user is taken to a page that explains the kind of content they will see, but to view it they need to join SexKey (you put a SexKey join script under the content explanation). Remind them that it's a free join and once they join, they have access not only to your "Premium Videos", but also 1000s of other sites and content.

Each time you get a free signup, you earn the commission and those people get access to the page (the Premium Content) you have protected.

You guys are over thinking this. All you need to do is add a link/tab at the top of your site and send it anywhere you want… Let's say a subdomain. Premium.hallelujah.com

Then you build a premium site behind a AVS on premium.hallelujah.com. You then promote this from throughout your website.

I have a few affiliates that have done something similar with mobile traffic and do very well. You can also apply this concept to dating, WebCams, herbals, games (which we now have) and anything else you can think of.

Thanks Sly, that's generally how it goes. Just open up a new tab on whatever kind of site you're running. Tube, blog, whatever.... throw up a SexKey script for free access. Bingo.

Used to love the old AVS site days. CyberAge was money. Build at night and submit in the morning, repeat. Not sure I would go back to AVS, just can't see surfers jumping through hoops to get access to 25+ photos.

Hank's company got me a lake house, Porsches, a Viper, and never missed a single payment, ever, to this day. They've got nothing to prove in my book. SK works -- it's that simple.

The message is that everyone was making money 6-7 years ago, if you make so much with them currently it's another thing since everyone assumes AVS are dead long time ago... So go ahead and post some current stats if you'd like.

Does sex key have any rules of how much content is needed? Or in theory I can get ONE picture and still lock it up under sex key?

I think I still have a script to produce tgp galleries, free sites, and sexkey avs pages from a set of content. Glad to know it's still going strong!

When I did sexkey sites I think It was 30 pics needed. This was when they paid $10 a signup though :upsidedow

Isn't that the requirement of AVS linklists? Or sexkey as well? I am asking since from reading this thread it sounds like sexkey can be used just as content lock on whatever you like..

PS: another question what happens to credit cards when people signup for FREE ? Renewals after three days etc?

Thanks for all the replies, guys. The main reason I was asking about SK, is because I can think of LOTS of creative ways to use it -- as a "Free" upsell, content locker, etc.

But I'm also thinking about creating a new SK link list and bolting it onto one of my existing sites. (Typical recips... I link to your SK site, you link to my link list). But that only works if there are a decent number of people actively building SK sites.

And so...?

Your description "content locker" is accurate. As far as minimums, we don't have specific minimums for content. It's up to you how much you want to use. Obviously we look at everything before it's approved, however, and 1 photo won't cut it. But we also look for illegal content, etc. A good rule of thumb would be to use a minimum of what one would find in a hosted gallery, plus a little xtra. As a minimum.

I've noticed several new affiliate joins this morning.

If anyone needs a hand, or possibly examples of how to set up and push the SexKey model, let me know. There are many different ways to do it, as it is a flexible model.

Okay, but ideally, i was hoping for something like they fill out the join link on my TubeX install then get sent to the sexkey join after they fill it out (or even have the sexkey join as part of the Tube membership page) then the surfer gets sent back to the tube after they have filled out the form. That way i could set up the tube to have a limited number of free views rather than hoping they go to a premium join page.

So, currently... non-logged in people have limited access to viewing material on your tube?
