I'm on my way and I'm not packing rubbers.

Ayla_SquareTurtle 03-14-2012 01:47 PM

Only in cases of rape, and with permission. They have a long way to go.

Intrinsic 03-14-2012 01:48 PM

crime level will drop in 3................2............................

Markul 03-14-2012 01:51 PM

Legal in Denmark too.. who cares?

GetSCORECash 03-14-2012 01:58 PM

Crime won't drop for another 20 years, enjoy your new found freedom. Studies show that most criminals are unwanted babies who were not nurtured by a mother and father.

Sid70 03-14-2012 02:00 PM

Seriously? Why should it be illegal at all?

It is not LEGAL...

This was an extraordinary CASE of VIOLATION.

LORENZETI the Supreme court JUDGE said that abortion is not legal and that this was a specific case.

However with the current LEFTIST PERVERSE government of Argentina, it can become legal any day. They just did anything wrong in these 10 years, they destroyed their military, the church and the institutions.

Even Seychelles has more powerful military than Argentina now. Probably the worst governement of Argentina History ever. Yet, people re-elected them because they bought them with social plans like in the DDR that they gave people free things to keep them calmed.

We could sit on a Bar and talk for hours about all this :)

The Catholic church is very strong in Latin America, and the fact that one country is allowing the abortion for the very first time is kind if big news for the region.

We also now accept gay marriage in Argentina.

Good question!

Buenos Aires wich is the capital city of the nation ,has somehow similar crime rate like the surrounding countries, but in the provinces crime rate is very low and people live pretty well.
The worst thing is that we have a deficient justice , so when they caught the robbers ( if they caught them ) they barely go to prison due to our flaky laws and corruption.

Crime in the CAPITAL CITY is very low, similar to first world cities.

However in the suburbs Of Buenos Aires you have many shanty towns (similar to FAVELAS in BRAZIL) and the CRIME IS RIDICOLOUS HIGH in the suburbs, even in pretty nice UPTOWN areas like San Isidro, OLIVOS, MARTINEZ, because criminals can move freely, because POLICE is AFRAID of criminals.. You have many "BRONX" AREAS...

In the provinces of Argentina, its completely another WORLD.. you can leave your bike in the street and nobody is going to steal it... BUT, the majority of tourist that come to Argentina are mainly visiting Buenos Aires.. so...

Our current Government protects criminals and if a 17 year old kills a whole family, rapes and violates their daughter and steals his money, he won't go to prison...

If a 25 year old criminal kills 3 rich guys and steal his money, he could at max face 5-10 years prison, BUT he will go out in 2 years, because of good behaving in PRISON and because our JUDGES are always in favour of criminals.

Definitely, this fucking government we have had for 10 years now, is the worst thing that could happen to us.

Even if you live in a box and don't out to streets, I can say that it has DAMAGE our business too, I mean to internet working people or entrepeneurs.. We cant import things, we cant buy dollars.. we cant go to another country and GET dollars from the ATMs because they put restrictions... A lot of DAMAGE.

When a criminal kills a good guy, everyone supporting this government says in the news: "poor guy, he didnt' know what he was doing... We forgive him.. he comes from a very hard chilhood, he doesn't deserve to go to prison, he is the consequence of the whole society"...

do you remember DETROIT in the movie ROBOCOP?? Well.. that is what happens in the suburbs of Buenos Aires right now, every single day.

If you come to Buenos Aires, always stay in the Capital City, you won't have any problems.

Córdoba is a very nice province.

Well, I know probably around 10 to 15 provinces in Argentina and all are amazing...

I agree with you. But unfrotunately, tourists that come from EUROPE or USA know Buenos Aires... It's a shame.

They should go to PATAGONIA (BARILOCHE, etc), CORDOBA, CATARATAS (Misiones), MENDOZA, SALTA... and so many other places... If you come to Buenos Aires, just visit the city... and nothing else to stay safe...

Here is a video to recognize a CRIMINAL in Buenos Aires, if they look like this, run away... They are called WACHI-CHORROS and they really look like monkeys that are high in CRACK (they call it PACO here) and live in the shanty towns, so you will recognize them very easily...

https://youtube.com/watch?v=VImS3zy7kto

Just be careful of these fuckers and you will stay safe.

Thread title is kind of misleading, no?

Allowing one lone special case abortion to occur doth not make it 'legal'.

EXACTLY.

Just to make it clear. ABORTION IS NOT LEGAL in Argentina... It's STILL ILLEGAL.

However I must admit that the current government has strong intentions to legalize it. That's a fact.

chaze 03-15-2012 08:58 PM

shocking, well welcome to 2012 and using our brains.

All I know about South America is from the TV Shows or the internet. I know that the most dangerous country /due to the highest crime/ is Colombia, and Rio (in Brasil) is not only football/or soccer as US guys named it/, and Carnival. The same could be told about my country as well due to the large amount of robbery, frauds and so on... The bigger the amount of people-the higher crime percentage (we are not sure that we can say that for China or North Korea, because their law system...
About Argentina I've heard and seen only good stuff -
The females there are one of the most sexiest women in world..
Also one of the best comic artists I know is from Argentina ( the rest are from Brasil /Latin America/). You never know...

Dirty Dane 03-16-2012 06:51 AM

Is porn legal there?
