paying 5,000$/month for #1 rank on google for nude teens ?

Hey, i got offered by this guy on icq to pay 5,000$/month and get all of the hits from #1 spot on google for "nude teens" keyword.

I think that i can 100% trust this guy, because i should pay him using paypal each day and not a month from advanced, and he prooved me that he got the #1 spot in there and also for some other keywords like ebony, asian and etc...

is it worth 5,000$/month ?

is it true that most ppl in here convert around 1:50 to 1:100 with se traffic ?

Dax 02-08-2003 08:33 PM

It all depends on the ammount of traffic you get.

no

PerfectionGirls 02-08-2003 08:34 PM

The cost is 166.00 a day.. if you dont have to pay up front, the worst thing that could happen is that you would lose $166.00 I would take the deal. Send me some of that traffic and I will split your cost with you. :thumbsup

Dildozer 02-08-2003 08:36 PM

At that price i'd rather get a nice spot in google adwords since the traffic should be better as people know it's paid advertisement

Dax 02-08-2003 08:38 PM

So if it costs $170 a day.... all you need is 5 sign ups -to a sponsor- a day to make it worth it.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal...

The question is.. why would he want to sell/rent that spot?

Simple, he's not making that much

gothweb 02-08-2003 08:39 PM

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Yes... thats the real question.

I have spoke to Google awhile ago and they can set you up with a premium listing. The cost was 4k a month, this was about 6 months ago. They let you add tons of key phrases. I think that would be alot better than this offer you got, cheaper and alot more clicks.

I have talked to people who have done that and they say they got better results from the adwords...

Hey thanks that is very good to know.

You won't be on there for long.

Your domain will be banned from Google after 1
month. I know how he's doing this, and unless
you're planning on doing it with multiple sites (
multiple domains which you can afford to get banned
from google), then go for it.

I would advise against such actions.

absolutely. the #1 rank gets lots of gawkers and other assorted idiots.

#1 also gets more newbies, too, and newbies are good. But if you want higher roi, go for #2.

Darin 02-08-2003 09:50 PM

Lets put it like this.

If someone is selling you traffic, it means they can't convert it. Which means most likely, if you have to ask this question, you can't convert it either.

Yea.. some jealous schmuck will report you for spamming the SE. These people should just learn to compete instead of complaining so much.

MattO 02-09-2003 12:26 AM

I'd like to know who you know on ICQ has the power to get you that... but anyways....

I've got some top shit on Google and unless the whole description listed with it and such on the search results shows the surfer exactly what they want, they'll skip down.

I get a ton of traffic from Google where I'm ranked 3rd or 4th, and when I look at the page listings with the #1 and such, you can see usually the url that just looks like it's a spaminator site.

Sorry if I'm rambling... it's late, cha'know....

buy my thing on Google is BULK listings. It's possible to get a shitload of good listings on bulk pages, doorways, as long as they have a topic related to the search terms.

I got a couple domains with 30k listings on Google, all based on a few lines of code, but since it's all topical I don't get banned.

I ain't paying out anything for adwords or nothing.

I dunno.. that's my thing... bla bla blaaa (it's been a long nite)

Adwords sucks for me. I'm converting at 1:100 with adwords & about 1:10 with regular google traffic.

JayJay 02-09-2003 06:55 AM

well you just answered the question yourself

Why would it get banned, just wondering as i see lots of "nude teens" mentions and links etc but not anything like spamming keywords.

That's because most of the sites under that keyword aren't
spamming keywords. The ones that were, got banned.

Google doesn't take a lot of shit when it comes to adult
oriented keyword spamming. I know from personal experience.

$5k a month for nude teens? Any other spots you want, we should talk. Seriously that is way too much. People run the top 50 links on google all the time so you get tons of in and out traffic. 130k searches on Overture last month for that term so lets say Google gets 3 times as much and 3.8% clicks that top link. That is 15k hits. So you need to convert 1:100 just to break even.

angelsofporn 02-09-2003 09:58 AM

top spots are overrated and for losers..#13 is where it's at

kong 02-09-2003 10:27 AM

It is NOT worth $5K... I once had 4 of the top 10 spots for nude teens and didnt nake close to that.

Paul Markham 02-09-2003 10:28 AM

Think about it. It does not take a genius to design a page and send traffic to lots of different sponsors or even create your own paysite.

So why is this guy doing it for you when he shoud be doing it for himself?

Google is in our top 5 of URLs that we get clients from. I just look down the orders list at referers and there is Google all the time.

GFY is number one. :thumbsup
