Investigators say they found child pornography, anti-government documents and instructions on bomb making during a search of the home of the man accused of shooting six police officers, killing one.

According to a search warrant served on Stewart's home, 3268 Jackson Ave., after the shooting melee, Stewart's girlfriend told police he was "very much into World of Warcraft (computer game), 911 conspiracy theories (where Stewart believes that the U.S. government is responsible for the 9/11 attacks), 2012 end of the world theories, and that he also believes that the U.S. Constitution does not provide the federal government the right to collect taxes."

Investigators found various documents printed from websites in Stewart's house "related to anti-U.S. government websites, marijuana manufacturing methods and products, anti-police websites, Oklahoma City bombing related websites, and guns and ammunition websites," the search warrant states.

Detectives also found "explosive materials and what appeared to be the makings of a bomb" in the linen closet of Stewart's house, according to court records. Police say he ordered bomb making materials over the Internet.

In addition, a search of one of Stewart's computers revealed, "multiple images consistent with child pornography," according to the search warrant.

In other Tea Party news...Michael Kobulnicky, the public relations spokesperson for the San Diego Tea Party was booked into San Diego Central Jail on numerous felony charges, including kidnapping, sexual assault, and sex with a foreign object.

Members of the San Diego Tea Party have confirmed that their one-time spokesman is the man arrested for raping a woman on Fiesta Island, it was reported over the weekend.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that Michael John Kobulnicky, 50, of Lemon Grove, had been the Tea Party's public voice up until last January, when he took a leave for personal reasons.

The newspaper reported that Tea Party San Diego issued a statement saying "our hearts and prayers go out to the victim," and added that Kobulnicky had been stripped of his role with the movement.

Kobulnicky was arrested Thursday afternoon, according to San Diego police, and charged with raping the 56-year-old victim on Feb. 25. Kobulnicky allegedly had spotted the woman as she walked on Linda Vista Road, offered her a ride and took her past her house to Fiesta Island.

The 6-foot-3-inch, 205-pound suspect allegedly pulled the victim out of the vehicle and raped her, then drove off. Surveillance tape from an earlier gas station purchase led to numerous tips identifying Kobulnicky, police said.

Kobulnicky, who is employed as a landscape supervisor, was booked into county jail for suspicion of rape, kidnapping and forcible sex with a foreign object. He was being held without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Monday afternoon.
