Not Shooting, then shooting for your paysite

I went off to build subversive-erotic and work on my other websites in Oct. Told my members I was taking a vacation to catch up on everything else and shoot and pay for the new talent to open these sites and get my porn directories in order.

Ok, it's March and I'm shooting again for my foot sites and I just feel super guilty about leaving that site for 4 month. I knew that I would have some recurring cancellations and everything, but I put out all of my galleries, updated on all of my trade partners, and even bought traffic for BFO. ...And still feel super guilty.

Just wondering if any of you other producers have done this and taken a leave of absence from your concepts and how did you feel about it? Was it for a good reason?

I work part time, I have to, in order to pay for my server, talent, gear, studios, etc. And I own alot of shit. My sig is about 1/3 of the interests I have online. There is that fine line, where you make enough online where you don't have to work fulltime, but still need that extra $$ per week to do the things you really want to do for the rest of your life. I will be glad if I can ever see the other side.
/end rant

Two questions:

You have an affiliate program?

You shoot for others?

Cheers!

Yes, I do. CCBill

I do not shoot for others. It is all exclusive to my network :)

~thanks

I've taken some long breaks from shooting before. Sometimes it charges my batteries, sometimes I lose a little (if it's too long a break) and it takes me a few shoots to get back on track.

yeah, it was interesting trying to get back into the groove of foot fetish, foot worship and stocking stuff from lesbian and pussy worship stuff I was shooting. There is a HUGE energy shift that you notice when you go between hardcore and cheesecake style softcore, imho. The talent is different, the air of the shoots are just 180 degrees.

About 6 years ago I took several months off. I just let my site go to hell. Finally I came to the conclusion that I was going to come back better than ever or just shut it down. My members deserved better. As it turned out I came back and knocked it out of the park. With the number of affiliates and members, these days, I have that could never happen again. But..yes...I hear what you are saying. When you work for yourself...every now and then...you need a break. If you are looking for any work writing descriptions and putting galleries together hit me up. I could use a little help with creative work in the FemDom arena now and again. Btw, your sites look nice. Good work. :-)

well, it's not great thing of course, but it's happens.

I just wanted to tell you that i really like your stuff. I have seen tons of legs fetish sites, and i am working on a few by my self, but i think that your photography is great for the niche, looks like you understand what you are doing.

What camera and lenses are you using?
