oops i leaked the trade documentation that i legally had access to because i am a member of Parliament to the public. They were elected on a platform of transparency so excluding them constitutes deliberately violating the will of the people. |

Back bench Parliamentarians don't have access to secret trade agreements, only ministers of the realm do and these 4 parliamentarians will not be in the ministry. Single issue crackpots get elected to parliaments around the world all the time. The only news in this story is that you think it's news. |
they are a bunch of annoying nerds that in 1-2 years will have either adopted to the political system or will have disappeared again. also within their "party" convicted pedofiles and neonazis have been outed already
right now they profit from being new and "against" the current party system. but that will wear off and then we will see how much political power they can really develop |

If they hadn't done that the bill would have been fast tracked (like it was in many countries) and the uproar that ultimately stopped the bill would never have been effective (because the bill would have already been established into law). |

use google translate... he was "investigating and collecting evidence" - but admitted the possession of cp that party attracts all kinds of scum and amateurs at the moment, only if they manage to mature and build democratic structures they might be able to survive. |

The bill was freely available to anyone who obtained a copy of the Parliamentary record at the time it was released, it's just that nobody cared until the Pirate party made a big deal out of it. In countries like Australia the full text of the agreement was published by the Government in Hansard, through the ordinary public reporting of Parliamentary sittings and Senate committee hearings. You cant leak what's already established onto the public record. The thing I find odd about you Gideon, is that you spend all this time trying to find things to justify and rationalize copyright theft by calling it other things, or pointing to weaknesses in copyright legislation. However you have never, ever managed to justify your position, you've never once convinced anyone of anything. Do you know why that is ? It's because your arguments are weak as piss and you don't have a clue. |

so now your trying to argue that no one cared about bill that was so hated that millions stormed the streets to protest it. The parliamentary record is taken when the bill is being voted on and debated in the parliment. By that time it too late. The elected officials are given the bill in final form much earlier then that so they can review it. They are given early drafts in advance so their input can be taken. If we had waited until the parlamentary record to get the bill it would have been too late. That the point. and you just made it for me. Quote:

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh yeah we can't all have winning arguments like politicians vote blind on every law that passed and no one cared about a law that had millions of people protesting in the street when they were informed of it. |

Hopefully when you grow up you'll get a life rather than this pointless campaign of self justification on GFY. [QUITE] sure you can the bill is given to the representatives before the hearing are heard and recorded so they have time to review, get legal advice, etc before voting on it. Are you really so stupid as to believe that laws are sprung on the elected officals within the parliamentary debate. That they are given no time to prepare, and they vote blind. [/QUOTE] You know what ? In most countries that's exactly what happens, bills are presented to the Parliament by the sponsoring Minister and then read, voted on etc by the parliamentary members. It all happens during the parliamentary session (ie: sitting period). Usually the bills are made available in what's called the first reading. Not where someone actually reads out the bill but where the bill is placed onto the public record for consideration by parliamentarians. Quote:
Are you autistic by any chance ? It would explain a lot about your single minded little campaign that nobody really cares about or supports. |

two cities (which counted the number of protesters) had over 15,000 and 5,000 respectively. Quote:

So your talking totally out of your ass there. WE ? Gideon, the most you have ever done for your cause is come to troll GFY, even then you fail. All you do is make stuff up and post it as fact, it's really rather pathetic to see you pushing this dead horse around. Hopefully when you grow up you'll get a life rather than this pointless campaign of self justification on GFY. [QUITE] sure you can the bill is given to the representatives before the hearing are heard and recorded so they have time to review, get legal advice, etc before voting on it. name one law that this happened Just one where bill was presented by sponsoring minister, read and voted on all in the same day. Of the 1000s of times that it supposedly happened just name one. Quote:
I wish that it was that simple, none of the bullshit laws would pass if that were true. |
