Well, 3333$ isn't a salary that a normal webmaster would take, since he can make much more money doing his own sites.

Anybody with the skills you require can make much more from their home.

Just my 2 cents tho :)

arock10 03-30-2012 09:15 AM

Wow so you are gonna get some terrible webmaster for 30k euros a year who couldnt manage to make that much on his own. Thats who I would want running my expensive tube sites

fris 03-30-2012 09:16 AM

i would apply if it were remote, good luck finding someone, amsterdam would be a nice place to live

MarkDeus 03-30-2012 09:21 AM

Indeed, good luck finding in-house staff on GFY.

I'm still looking for programmers for an in-house job in Montreal, Canada

porno jew 03-30-2012 09:23 AM

can i smoke weed at work?

k0nr4d 03-30-2012 09:28 AM

I suspect hard to live in amsterdam city center for 25-30k euros

shake 03-30-2012 09:37 AM

That wouldn't pay for bike parking :1orglaugh

thecooze 03-30-2012 09:38 AM

Do you guys have a "load wipe" guy in the office?? Cause for that salary that is all I would do all day and someone is going to have to clean that shit up. Dropin Loads.

sandman! 03-30-2012 09:40 AM

good luck finding someone thats not a moron for that salary.

DamianJ 03-30-2012 09:47 AM

Seems a very very low salary for that skill set.

alias 03-30-2012 09:49 AM

So roughly 300,000 USD. Not bad.

seeme 03-30-2012 10:10 AM

Ok the job description is slightly wrong by saying managing. Its more like assisting, we want someone who has those basic skills and is willing to learn to become an awesome webmaster :)

I'll take it, can I still sleep for free in the Vondelpark?

sandman! 03-30-2012 10:18 AM

your better off looking for someone local in the classifieds or whatever you guys have there i doubt many people would move for that salary to another country.

unless your from india or something.

jimmycooper 03-30-2012 10:18 AM

So I take it that those who feel as if the salary is too low will more than likely not be applying. Interesting stuff.:thumbsup

porno jew 03-30-2012 10:20 AM

I don't get all the hate in here... assuming the salary is NET take home every month .. it is quite ok for a junior position .. lets say you are a 20 - 23 year old local dutch with the skill set required this could be a good job for you

however if the salary is not the "take home" salary ..and still has to be taxed .. then yeah no way in hell anyone with any kind of skill no matter how old is going to be interested ... the only ones that are going to want this job are the same ones that normally would work in Mc Donalds .. .

Is it common to list salaries as net in Europe? You would never see that in North America so just curious.

not really .. living in Amsterdam is not the same as being a tourist in Amsterdam ...

tourist price in Amsterdam are a real rip-off and can not be compared to living expenses for regular Amsterdam locals

rent can be done on 450 - 600 euros a month .. and food is very very cheap in the local supermarkets .... Alber Hein / C2000 and whatnot are in a "supermarket war" and always trying to lure the customers with price cuts...

so for someone around 20 - 23 years old with the required skills this could be a good job assuming the salary posted is the actual take-home salary :thumbsup

porno jew 03-30-2012 10:29 AM

of course it's not the take home salary. who lists salaries after taxes?

well, if you would be offering a job in a more "formal" setting then no . . salaries listed are always before tax .. but seeing that this is GFY , and all anyone who posts here is going to care about is what the take home pay is .. it might be / hopefully is in this case :2 cents:

you could be right.. but I was assuming that as this is GFY and not really a formal setting and all anyone is going to care about is the actual take home pay they might have listed that...

cause really 25k- 30k euros a year before tax is TOO ridiculous to be even considered realistic ... :2 cents::Oh crap

seeme 03-30-2012 11:12 AM

I am not willing to discuss the salary in detail on GFY, if anyone is interested they can contact me :)
