Hey guys,

I am looking for a quality graphics guy with a lot of experience and a good portfolio, that you would recommend to your mother.

Seriously. Someone reliable. I know there are some out there somewhere.

I need some banners, flash and gif, and maybe even a tour design.

Please don't spam the thread, I am looking for highly recommended graphics people based on reliablity and recommendations.

thank you Alan. However, we're not between the most expensive, but the most affordable. Since we don't outsource and everything is kept in-house, we can provide a high level of quality (as you know :winkwink: ) while keeping our prices reasonable. And still the results are the same or better than companies charging up to 5 times what we charge, hence why we were the only company in business able to show 3rd party results FOR YEARS :thumbsup

Out of curiosity, took a look to the other design firms prices and it seems some in the list I gave are cheaper than outsourcing companies or less than average quality design firms. Weird.

well, I can't speak for other companies, to each its own. However, I have noticed a trend the last couple years: people paying more money for the same task that hires us to fix what more expensive companies did wrong, so the client ends paying more.

In some way, it's curious because you could expect that from cheaper services, not from the most expensive, it isn't logical at all. IMHO, I think that is because outsourcing companies are hiring very cheap designers/coders, so in the end you are left with something that isn't even close to the services companies with no middle persons could offer for the same or lower price. Just a guess.
