If the lists are opt-in and the mailing is CAN SPAM compliant, yes.

Everything has to be above board. I don't have a problem with taking the time to walk someone through what the requirements are that need to be met, helping someone set it up the right way, etc. On the flip side of that though is if someone's playing dirty the result is a frozen account. Its not a 3 strikes / multiple warnings type situation.
