Jim Marshall, who was known as "The Father of Loud" for designing the amplifiers that became ubiquitous in the rock world, has died at 88.

i had a couple of Marshall amps, the man was a legend

Time for me to go out and buy myself a Marshall YJM100 head.

Bummer! Nothing like a Marshall.. RIP
