Crowdfunding is now law in the USA
How effective due to think the new law would be in creating jobs? The premise is simple. Using online tools, startups can raise money from small investors See details at: http://venturebeat.com/2012/04/05/cr...r_infographic/
What mechanisms are in place that make sure precious funds aren't pissed away? How effective do you think these would be? |
If you have a really good idea and post it on kickstarter.com somebody with cash will take your idea and make it while you are waiting to get funded.
If you have a so-and-so idea and wish to crowdfund then by all means go ahead you may just get funded. The problem with crowdfunding will be more and more crowdfunding website competing, this will dilute the total # of investors on each site and in turn reduce chances for everybody. I guess the real problem is that there is a limited # of people actually willing to pledge money...very limited |

You might be on to something. Still need to smooth out some rough edges but the concept of microniches funded by the audience itself can both be VIRAL, sustainable, and also TUBE-proof since this is crowdsourced content...... |
