as long as he's not surprised he's fine though he does prefer to meet people in the model greenroom/makeup room. he doesn't bite anyway, he will growl and stand behind me which is very typical mastiff behaviour....

the weirdest part of a 6 month 100 pound puppy is a 100 pound dog running anround, jumping up in the air etc... i.e. acting like a puppy... he is a big as a full grown regular big dog right now, like a lab or whatever

Cute dog. He's a big guy!

Rothstein 04-08-2012 06:13 PM

Do you feed him cheap dog food, real dog food (evo), or a raw (real food) diet?

HQ kibbles type dog food mixed with either raw hamburger or what i like to call 'dog baloney' ... it's the loaf like a giant baloney that is formulated for dogs with 'what the fuck ever in it...' also going through training and such with him... hopefully I can make a therapy dog out of him and go visit people in the hospital with him once a week... been told he'll be a puppy for year or 2 tho...

Okay then...

Donny 04-08-2012 08:33 PM

That's a good lookin' dog!

candyflip 04-08-2012 08:48 PM

That is not useless for me, as we were just talking about weights of big dogs today.

I'm still pushing for the Mastiff but my girl and my daughter have both fallen in love with a Cane Corso up the street.

He's awesome and I bet great to have around.

Mastiffs are bred to not bite. They will pin someone down and hold them until backup arrives. It's pretty amazing and why they're at the top of my list with little kids in the house.

It definitely is useless, but at least its complete.

Love that dog. He looks very territorial though.

The guy living in the apartment upstairs has a mastiff that is so big that I can actually hear him banging his tail against the floor when he is lying down :1orglaugh and the most dangerous part about him is his drooooooool

Did you get a Mastiff? I can't remember.

What do you anticipate it's weight when full grown?

How much food do you go through?

his dad is 200 at 2 years... not too much food, some kibbles and a roll of burger a week

Donny 04-09-2012 01:11 PM

I feed my two Mastiffs "Fromm Family Large Breed." It's good stuff.

Awesome plan. Mastiffs are perfect for that type of therapy.
